Sister Mary of Saint Peter was a Discalced Carmelite nun from France. In her cloistered convent she experienced a series of private revelations from Our Lord. He told her about a powerful devotion He wished to establish worldwide: devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus. She was given the Golden Arrow Prayer by Jesus, for reparation against blasphemy to His Holy Name and profanation of Holy Days of the Lord. The Golden Arrow with its three rings, symbolizes the Holy Trinity. Sister Mary died before this devotion was approved by Pope Leo XIII in 1885.
