Saint Norbert was born into a wealthy German family and lived a worldly life. In 1115, riding his horse during a storm, he had a literal “off his horse” conversion. He was thrown from his horse and when he woke up he asked: “Lord, what do you want me to do?” Our Lord said “Turn from evil and do good.
