Saint Leonard, a French noble, who converted along with King Clovis I, was a monk who lived in a hermitage and founded the Noblac monastery. Through his prayers, he was able to secure the release of prisoners and prayerfully intercede for the Queen to deliver her child safely. Prisoners who asked for his intercession experienced their chains breaking, being released and then bringing those chains to St. Leonard as homage. He died of natural causes.
