Patronage: Protector of Paris, young girls, and French security forces.
Saint Genevieve was a saintly child born near Paris. She was encouraged by St. Germain to serve God and remain virtuous. At 15 She "received the veil" of a religious. When Paris was threatened by Attila the Hun and later a Germanic king she encouraged the Parisians to pray and fast, while she brought boatloads of food to the starving people. St. Genevieve lead a life of great austerity, constant prayer, and charitable works.
