Saint Magnus the “Apostle of Allgau” was a Benedictine monk and missionary in Bavaria, Germany who founded the Fussen Abbey. He was a contemporary of St. Columban and St Gall and is known to have helped local Barvarians clear land for farming and began a mining industry.
