Saint Paschal was a Franciscan lay brother, mystic, and contemplative. Born on the feast of Pentecost to poor Spanish parents, he lived the vow of poverty his whole life. He had a great devotion to the Blessed Sacrament, defending the True Presence to the Calvinist. Many miracles are attributed to him before and after his death. His tomb was desecrated and relics destroyed by the communists during the Spanish Civil war. (1936-39)
